Gradient Golden II
DHV 1/2
The Star of Sports Class
Paragliding at its best captures the true spirit of freedom and adventure. To enjoy the thrills, you need a paraglider that not only offers top performance but also security which can be relied on in all flying situations.
Through the use of v-rib technology along with careful attention to sail-tension-balance the Golden II is both light and strong. The line concept with progressive diameters reduces both weight and drag and helps to reduce tangles on launch. An easy launch character complements the feeling of progressive and communicative handling in the air. The control forces required are light and precise at normal flying speeds and increase strongly towards the stall point. Golden II has a high passive safety margin with excellent manoeuverability and very good speed for a DHV1-2 type glider. Apart from being comfortable in lively conditions Golden II also maintains its performance and feeling in weaker conditions - a feature so important to getting the most out of your flying.
With the Golden II, Gradient went all out to design a glider which was a delight to fly as well as having the performance and security for long XCs, even in strong conditions. Gradient Aspen 2
DHV 2
High performance for the more experienced pilot
Gradient had a hard act to follow in the original Aspen but we now have
the Aspen 2, and it looks good....very good! It must have been a
difficult task to improve on a design that has been a world leader in the DHV2 class but Gradient claim
significant improvement in several parameters.
The development has resulted in an improved sink rate and glide angle at normal speeds while retaining the agility
and high top speed of the original. Feedback from the test team says the new Aspen 2 proves even easier to pilot with
a slightly more "direct" feel to the brakes and more
resistant to turbulence.
The glider is recommended to all competent pilots who want a high performance glider on
which to really enjoy their flying; whatever their style.
Optimised shape and area of cell openings Excellent take off behaviour Unique handling when thermalling Exceptional glide performance High speed range High stability in turbulence A new four-riser speed system A two-level line concept with progressive diameters gives the lowest possible drag

Ozone Mojo II
- DHV 1
The very best you can get in the DHV-1 category?
During its three year career, the original Mojo set an astonishingly high standard for DHV 1 wings. The Mojo was well rounded enough to be safe as a first glider, yet with enough handling and performance for 100km XC flights.
The Mojo 2 fits into the same category and has similar characteristics to the first Mojo, but with a few important differences. The primary improvement of the Mojo2 is the increased progressiveness of the brake travel and the roll reduction. These two factors have increased the precision of the handling and the comfort in flight, which are highly important factors for overall glider performance. The glide and speed has been improved through more advanced profiling, although the overall passive safety remains uncompromised and solid enough for any new pilot or for pilots for whom passive safety is paramount.
The new Mojo2 is constructed from 45gm2 Porcher Sport Skytex cloth, which has proven to be a durable and reliable material with unparalleled longevity.
| Glider | Weight Range | DHV Rating | Cost inc. VAT |
| Mojo 2 XS | 55-70kg | 1 | £1999 |
| Mojo 2 S | 65-85kg | 1 | £2099 |

Ozone Geo 2
DHV 1-2
Lightweight paraglider - superb
performance, easy to carry!
The Geo II is an entirely new wing, with no design features from the original Geo except for the cloth. This new wing is our answer to the pilots who have been asking us for a lightweight DHV 1-2 wing with above average performance!
Totally new profile, planform, and performance
Compact size when folded: ideal for travel and hiking
Easy launch, super fun handling
Maximum glide performance: ideal for vol-bivouac adventures
Built with Porcher 9017 E68A: the gold standard for durable lightweight material
The Geo II is a totally new glider at the top of the 1-2 class in terms of performance and handling.
What started as a new concept in 2005 with the original Geo, has become a revolution in the sport with an entire class of wings devoted to pilots who want a lightweight glider with no sacrifice in performance, handling, or fun.
Created from extensive experience designing and testing DHV1-2 wings, the performance of the Geo II is unquestionably exceptional for its class. The Geo II is highly agile in the turn and efficient on glide.
Designed with True Performance as its mission statement, the Geo II incorporates the results of real adventure research and the significant profile, planform, and construction developments in our DHV 1-2 program made since the release of the original Geo. With a new advanced profile that is featured in all of the next generation of Ozone wings, the Geo II has the glide performance necessary for serious vol-bivouac flights in mountain terrain or efficient glides in weak flatland conditions. Segmented diagonals are used throughout; these are lighter than standard full diagonals and have allowed for a massive 110m reduction of total line length, which has in turn resulted in less drag and higher performance at no cost of safety.
The Geo II’s new sleek planform has swept tips and a carefully proportioned reduction in cell size at the tip for smooth airflow in this aerodynamically critical area. Efficient wingtips increase both performance and handling.
Porcher Skytex 36g/m2 has a well proven record of durability, and is the same cloth used on the original Geo. Lines are a combination of sheathed Aramid (lowers), UV treated unsheathed Aramid (mids) and unsheathed Dyneema (uppers). The Geo II is available in two riser options: standard risers, and light weight Dyneema for pilots who are most concerned with weight.
Ozone wings are adventure-proven more than any other, and the Geo II is our ultimate adventure wing for intermediate pilots. This is your tool to make it real… Designed for adventure, tested for performance in extreme environments and trimmed for safety, the Geo II has been a pleasure for us to develop. But this wing’s journey is by no means finished; in fact for you it has just begun. Enjoy your Adventure.

Ozone Rush 2
DHV 1-2
The Rush was created for the performance pilot who needs DHV 1-2 security. With a higher aspect ratio and more cells, the Rush is closer to a DHV2 in performance while remaining well within the boundaries of the DHV 1-2 class. It features sportier, more dynamic handling than the Buzz, along with a higher speed range.
The Rush is Cross Country Performance with safety and stability. It is a top-end DHV 1-2 with all of the ingredients for long flights; all it needs is a pilot to lead the way. The Rush’s launch characteristics are benign for a wing with such performance and dynamic character, and pilots will find that the inflation is simple to control even in higher winds. The wing likes to bite into thermals and the handling is direct and well coordinated, which makes coring even the tightest or most disorganized lift a pleasure. Feedback is transmitted to the pilot in comfortable amounts, and it is feedback that the pilot can understand and use, not just turbulence or noise.
The Rush is for the adventurous, experienced DHV 1-2 pilot. It is a glider that has all of the performance needed for long Cross Country flights, including a wide speed range and an efficient glide on speed bar. The Rush may be less suitable for pilots who do not fly very often, or who have less experience.

Gin Yeti 08
DHV 1
Ultra-Lightweight Paraglider
Over the past few years a demand has grown for an utra-light
or mountain glider : the Yeti is the DHV 1 answer!
The R&D Team developed this glider in collaboration with
GIN Team pilots Will Gadd and Stefan Bocks using the Red
Bull Cross-Alps event as a testing ground. With the
experience gained and a nostalgia memory for the
lightweight bags carried in the early days of paragliging,
the team developed a glider weighing less than 4 kg
for their own private use and for a few GIN Team pilots.
Refining and perfecting from this start, concentrating on small details, searching for new materials, developing new assembly techniques for the lines, panels, reinforcements and risers. Testing the strength of each material, and each assembly, making hundreds of flight tests and thousand of load tests, until the goal was reached - a real work of art at just 3.7kg (XS size) ... The Yeti is made by hand, with each unit assembled by one person, and requires many hours in manufacturing.
The Yeti is built using a totally new light fabric from PORCHER, with an environmentally friendly coating (9017 E68A). Lines are heat treated and pre-stretched from LIROS. Risers are constructed from dyneema webbing. All other materials used in the construction; tapes, reinforcements and connectors etc. are chosen to achieve the highest performance to weight ratio possible.
The Yeti is essentially a very lightweight version
of the Bolero Plus. Hence the safety and in flight
behaviour are benign, with a bit more speed and more
dynamic handling than the Bolero Plus. In brief, a really
enjoyable glider to fly - The Bolero Plus has already
gained an excellent reputation one of the best gliders in
its category, and the Yeti retains its superb
characteristics, but its ultra-light weight makes
inflation even better! To enable take off from steep
slopes or snow, attachment points have been added to the
top surface to fix the glider to the ground.
Objective achieved : 5kg, ready to fly...

Airwave Sport 4 DHV-1/2
Pedigree
Design Background - Outstanding
performance for its class.
The feel -
As soon as you fly the Sport 4 the main thing you feel is safety and stability, with an ability to float to the top of the stack without effort….. Accessible performance.
Sink Rate -
When designing the new Sport 4 we started by asking Sport 1, 2, and 3 pilots what they needed most in the glider. Was it better glide or more speed or more safety or stability. By far what people appreciated in the Sport 3 above all was the ‘easily accessible performance’. Already with the Sport 3’s ‘auto thermalling’ handling we were on the right track. This gave pilots the ability to get a good sink rate out of the glider without working too hard and we have further developed this idea on the Sport 4. This idea of easily accessible performance with an emphasis on sink rate is what we have worked most on in the design of the Sport4.
Roll Stability -
The Sport 4 is an evolution of the Sport 3 in many ways but it also has a lot of new features as well. It has one less cell , 52 instead of 53 cells. The middle cell has been removed to give more feeling of stability though the harness, which is consistent with our CSS design concept that runs thoughtout the range of Airwave gliders, but we have opted for more stability to make the wing more accessible.
3 or 4 rows of lines? -
In recent years there has been a shift from 4 rows of lines to 3 rows of lines in high performance gliders. In fact Airwave was the first brand to certify a 3 line glider with the DHV in the Magic 4. So when we developed the Sport 4 we also investigated the idea of having 3 rows. During the development of the Sport4 we had protos flying with 3 rows as well as 4 rows of lines. Both flew nicely and passed the certification requirements. However the three row glider was not as easy to fly as the four row version. So for the production version of the Sport 4 we have designed the wing with 4 rows of lines in the center of the wing and 3 rows in the tip. Thus enabling us to get the best of both worlds.
The Sport 4 has only 3 risers which enables us to reduce line length even more reducing drag and giving better overall performance.
Hybrid Diagonals -
The Sport 4 is the first of the Sport series of gliders to incorporate hybrid diagonals in the sail. This concept was designed to improve stability at speed as well as low speed performance in my competition glider.
Slightly higher aspect ratio -
The AR of the Sport 4 has been increased from 5.15 on the Sport 2 and 3 to 5.35 on the Sport 4. This is a very modest increase in aspect ratio, and the other features of design of the Sport 4 mean that we can get better stability and safety from this higher aspect ratio than we had on the Sport 3. Enabling us to achieve more performance with better safety.
The Sport 4 is a middle of the range 1-2 rated glider.
